Committed To Education
+ Serious About Integrity

Education is a homegrown passion that I believe qualifies and empowers our futures. In my time serving for multiple elected terms on the Trenton School Board, it has given me firsthand experience with what it takes to improve systems, manage large budgets, and deliver results for families as it relates to education. As a proud graduate of an HBCU, holder of a Juris Doctorate, and Masters of Public Policy in Matters of Urban Affairs from Princeton University-- education holds significance and priceless representational value to me, I helped lead the transformation of the Capital City High School into a vocational and career focused school offering pathways in trades, technology, aviation, environmental engineering, and other high demand fields, many leading to six figure careers. I have also championed bilingual and multilingual education reforms that recognize students’ existing strengths and increase their future earning potential.
" I believe education policy should be practical, inclusive, and focused on preparing our young people for the real world that they will inherit. "
Education
Integrity
City Hall corruption must be rooted out. Shooting incidents on the steps of our capital building with no
accountability or added safety measures will not do. 8 years of no bid contracts, hundreds of millions of dollars of overtime scandals, merciless property tax rates including increases, and overall apathy that
costs Trentonians their hard earned money.
When we run City Hall efficiently, legally, in lock step with DCA, absent of Federal Investigations, and reward good workers we can lower taxes because we’re not paying 10x more for basic services like paving potholes, landscaping, or building public areas. Our goal is to do it right and do it right the first time to prevent cost scaling.
